Atomic Spitfire are a “Death ‘N’ Roll” band from Uppsala, Sweden. They formed in 2023 with the mindset to mix Motorhead riffs with Entombed brutality which brings us to “Death N Roll”. They’ve played plenty shows in Sweden and have plans in place to be playing in Denmark soon and we have two songs to check out so without further ado, let’s check them out!

 

First up is “Neon Rain” which starts off with a great opening riff which lures you in with the melodic nature followed up with some great gutterals. The song is a fairly slower paced attack for others of the genre which makes it a standout with the groove filled riffs.

Next up we have “Head N Roll”. Now you can definitely hear the Entombed influence in this track with the slower pace. The opening bass riff is fantastic, setting up the song perfectly. A track you’ll definitely be headbanging along to, it is slower then a typical “death metal” track but this is death n Roll!

Overall, two good songs nothing crazy but good solid songs to form the base of a future EP or album release.
